This month Kim releases his latest work, entitled, 'The Lonely Mountains'. A sequel to “Ancient Crime”.

Kim grew up in Asia. Between the ages of eleven and fifteen, he lived in a British boarding school in Katmandu, Nepal. Inspired by this, Kim wrote ‘Ancient Crime’
It was released March 2012 and got wonderful reviews, a great number of shows, and quickly sold out of its first pressing.

Meanwhile Kim continued writing but he didn’t leave his skewed British boarding school world of “Ancient Crime”. He rearranged works by Chopin and Britten, and added new verses to poems by Robert Herrick and W.N. Hodgson. He also wrote new material and rearranged his earlier work.

The result is a new EP called 'The Lonely Mountains'. Like “Ancient Crime” it abounds in choirs, strings and horns and features over 30 musicians/singers including Marla Hansen (Sufjan Stevens, The National).

And like “Ancient Crime” it is a world of its own, with countless different voices and instruments weaving in and out. At times telling of strife and isolation, and at times of exuberance and joy.
